  • 120 ml lauwarme Milch Warm to the touch, not hot

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the eggs and warm milk, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Incorporate the softened butter, kneading until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Brush with the beaten egg for a glossy finish.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
