- 250g fresh strawberries
- 150g mascarpone cheese
- 100g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 100ml lemon juice
- 20g melted butter
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 100g ricotta cheese
- 20g vanilla seeds
Note: Choose fresh, seasonal strawberries for the best flavor.
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Whisk Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla powder until smooth and frothy.
- Add Cheeses: Add the mascarpone and ricotta cheese and whisk until you have a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
- Add Liquids: Stir in the lemon juice and melted butter until well combined.
- Prepare Breadcrumbs: In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the vanilla seeds.
- Layer Breadcrumbs: In a buttered baking dish, create a first layer of the breadcrumb mixture.
- Add Cheese Mixture: Add a layer of the mascarpone and ricotta mixture.
- Add Strawberries: Add a layer of fresh strawberries.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers twice, finishing with a layer of breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake: Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C, then lower the temperature to 180°C (350°F) and bake for another 20 minutes.

- Make sure to use fresh, seasonal ingredients for the best flavor.
- Don’t overdo the sugar; the mascarpone and ricotta mixture is already sweet.
- You can customize with other fresh fruits like apricots or peaches.
- Don’t forget to let the dessert cool before serving.
