Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g cubed turkey breast
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp black mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth
- ½ tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 50 g grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté Onion and Garlic: In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until tender. This step is crucial for developing the aromatic flavor of the recipe.
- Add Turkey and Mustard: Add the cubed turkey and cook until golden brown on all sides. Add the black mustard seeds and mix well to distribute the flavor evenly.
- Add Lemon Juice and Vegetable Broth: Add the lemon juice and vegetable broth. Stir well to combine the flavors.
- Add Egg and Parmesan: Add the egg and grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Mix until the egg is well combined with the other ingredients.
- Shape the Meatballs: Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cook the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
- Use high-quality olive oil for the best flavor.
- Feel free to add a little tomato sauce for an extra touch of flavor.
- If you prefer a more intense taste, you can increase the amount of garlic or add a little black pepper.
